Images of (Young and Classical) Catholic France

I was looking through some of the French classical rite youth movement pages I discovered yesterday, and there are some interesting photographs.

It's not labelled as such on the site, but I was delighted to see this picture of a Dominican rite liturgy being celebrated for the Rassemblement des Jeunes Catholiques (note the way they are lined up at the altar, as well as the 'gremial' on the sedilia which would cover the laps of the priest, deacon and subdeacon.) The Fraternity of St. Vincent Ferrier seems to have a presence with this particular movement. Nice the see the apparelled alb.

(Some more from the Dominican rite; note the position of the subdeacon:)

From the same group and church, Benediction:

From the Catholic Scouting movement in France; a Mass:

(A particularly interesting picture:)

It would be nice to see a Catholic scouting movement, attached to the classical rite and reform of the reform, develop in other parts of the world, let alone the youth movement generally.

I'm always rather intrigued by the youth movement in France attached to the liturgical traditions of the Church. They seem to be approached with a particular fullness and richness and are quite edifying.

Perhaps these photos can serve as an inspiration for other groups or the priests and adults who might lead such groups.
