The Lost Song of Gregory

I've enjoyed this video on Google vids, which features some amazing singing in an attempt to trace the develop of chant from the early middle ages through the modern period. Dominique Vellard is particularly impressive in providing some stylized interpretations of early neumes. This is contrasted with the singing in communities of monks and nuns, who provide more conventional renderings. Tragically, I'm the last one who should be commenting on this since my French is non-existent, but it is still very beautiful even without understanding the texts.
